Nine Do It Yourself Experiments that will GROW YOUR MIND

Every now and then, a book comes into your life… and changes EVERYTHING.

Have you ever been called by a book? That’s what happened to me recently when Pam Grout’s book E-Squared made it’s way into my awareness. And the call was so strong it could not be ignored.

I was out of town doing a workshop and the desire to have the book became so strong, I began calling bookstores in surrounding areas. A Barnes & Noble 30 miles away had one copy! I was thrilled… and then they told me “Oh I’m sorry, were saving for another customer”, it couldn’t be touched and it was on hold for another 3 Days!

I HAD TO HAVE THAT BOOK!

I waited a bit… and then I heard… “Let the manager handle it”.

So I called the bookstore back, asked for a manager, and she not only handled it, but she did it with such a wonderful attitude! She called me back to let me know she had called the “hold” customer who was local, explained that I was from out of town and I could feel her smiling when she said the book was mine and I could pick it up at the register.

I fell asleep reading it, and when I woke up, my first thought wasn’t “Where’s the coffee?” it was “Where’s the Book?”. Yeah… it’s powerful.

My son and I did the first experiment at the same time, and both received blessings within hours. He called me to tell me about his, minutes after I received mine. It was AMAZING! We were giggling and laughing and excited to do it again… and that is a moment I will remember for the rest of my life.

Both of my sons now each have their own copy, and it will be the gift I give to everyone I love from now on.

I BELIEVE… (I Think)

Belief… such a powerful word, yet most of us go out entire life without knowing the power of it.

We form what we think to be our beliefs as they are taught to us from generation to generation… and eventually we claim them as our own. A few are brave enough to create their own beliefs, unlearning everything they thought they knew… Those few are the change makers that travel on the leading edge of thought.

In my own experiences in these last 5 years of researching, I’ve discovered the power of my own beliefs… and what comes with that knowledge is a freedom that can’t be described with words.

For years I had all these great teachers telling me I was more powerful than I realized, but still I found myself caught in the mind trap of “I believe…. while secretly thinking “at least I think I do”, so without realizing it I was splitting my energy and creating more struggle and indecision in my life.

It wasn’t until I decided to believe in MYSELF that things really began to change.

The more I believed in me, the more others did too! Suddenly I had confidence where I once had fear. I began to realize and acknowledge the shifts I was experiencing, but more importantly… I recognized WHY I was experiencing them.

Believing in the invisible is impossible for some, they demand evidence with a “I’ll believe it when I see it” attitude. This is where my perspective changed.

I began to understand that it is within the invisible… that the incredible dwells.

Think about this for a minute –

Have you ever seen a thought? Has anybody? You can ask every brain surgeon in the world, and NONE of them have ever seen a thought while they were poking around inside someone’s head.

Can you imagine? Doctors surgically removing or replacing thoughts and ideas? Of course not! Because at some level YOU KNOW that thoughts and ideas are invisible… and you also know how powerful they are.

Take a look at your own beliefs. Are they serving you or limiting you? Do you know if they are even yours?

Discover your own Truth… and begin your journey with the decision to believe in Yourself.

You are more than you think you are… and you owe it to yourself to discover the true I AM within you.

It is possible to get where you want to go in life, and it’s much easier when you have help from someone who believes in you.
